Tech-Recycle was formed in 2009 by a group of IT industry professionals. Its aim is to provide safe, professional and ethical IT recycling services to companies and individuals. They will collect any IT and electrical equipment in any age or condition, including desktops, laptops, workstations and monitors, standalone and rackmount servers, Routers, Hubs & Switches, WAP, printers, scanners Firewall and UTM products Comms, VoIP, server cabinets and other associated electrical equipment. They are based in Surrey but offer a free collection service in Guildford, Southampton, Woking, Reading, London, and Hampshire, and throughout the UK by arrangement. Tech-Recycle ensures that all company or personal data is either physically shredded or irretrievably erased and issues the relevant Duty of Care notices and Certificates of Data Destruction to comply with legal requirements.
