Tech-Recycle was started by a group of IT industry professionals to help companies securely and ethically recycle their IT equipment, by redeploying to organizations that otherwise don’t have the budget,

With a long established background in the IT industry we are ideally suited to understand your requirements and offer a safe, professional and ethical route to recycling your redundant IT equipment.

We are not a waste disposal company so we use our IT background and knowledge to refurbish, update and redeploy IT equipment to start-ups, charities, SMEs and students across the UK. Where we differ is we offer additional services via network of trusted and vetted partners to re-warranty, install and maintain this new hardware to ensure it continues to help others.

Tech-Recycle is a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher, registered with the Environment Agency as an approved treatment facility, hazardous waste storage providers/producers, waste carriers and waste brokers. We are also approved and registered with ICO (Information Commissioners Office) to ensure current compliance with the data protection act.

Recycle

Put simply, Tech Recycle collect redundant and end of life IT and electrical equipment from companies of all sizes, then refurbish the equipment and redeploy the equipment to companies, charities start-ups and families that don’t have the budget to buy new equipment. This service is completely free.

We destroy all data passed to us safely and securely. The destruction process meets or exceeds many internationally recognised standards including the UK’s Communications Electronics Security Group’s (CESG’s) HMG Infosec Standard No. 5 and US Army AR380-19 DoD 5220.22 M.

Any equipment we are unable to refurbish is broken down and ethically recycled. We don’t allow anything to go to landfill, and don’t export anything outside the UK.
